High School Swim Meet Director’s List

This simple one-page list of the volunteers, equipment, and prep needed to host a dual or tri-team high school swim meet. This list also works well for other types of development meets too.

High School Swim Meet Referee Prep List

This Ref Prep List makes it easier for volunteers to serve as great swim meet referees. Because of the comprehensive format, you can use it at all types of meets. Simply cross out or delete what you don’t need. Use it during the planning stages all the way through to the finalization of results.

Coaches and Team Captains Meeting List

When refereeing a high school meet, I print one copy of this list for each team captain and give it to them at the pre-meet Coaches and Team Captains meeting.

The meeting participants include at least one coach from each team, all the team captains and the meet referee. It’s held 10 minutes before the start of warm-ups. At the meeting the meet referee reviews all the items on the list and instructs the captains that it is their responsibility to take the information back to their teammates.  Having a copy of the list helps them do this more effectively.
